TELUS Nancy Greene Corporate Challenge

Last weekend, Sun Peaks Resort held the 17th Annual TELUS Nancy Greene Corporate Challenge. It was a fun filled weekend which saw teams from both Sun Peaks and Kamloops compete in a friendly race down Sun Catcher, all in the spirit of giving!

The action began on Friday for the keen racers who ditched the fresh powder to hit the gates for some practice runs. Come Saturday everyone was eager to clock a PB and put their team in good standing for not only a trophy but of course bragging rights!

After a jam packed day of racing, participants celebrated their achievements at the after party in the Delta Hotel where the well-deserved drinks were flowing. Nancy Greene Raine and Steve Podborski did a fantastic job of MC’ing, while a silent and live auction helped the Corporate Challenge raise over $26,000 for the Sun Peaks Health Association, the RIH Foundation and Sun Peaks junior ski racing.

Thanks to all the participants, sponsors and volunteers who once again made the event such a success - See you all again next year!
