Event Description
The Shredidential Election presented by the Oronge Board Shop returns for 2010!
The advanced slopestyle line will be used for the Shredidential. No worries though for the groms, because the Terrain Park crew is putting in side car take offs on the large jumps to make them smaller for the younger athletes. This doesn't by any means change the level of competition for the more advanced entrants.
Snowboarders and skiers will compete in two separate categories. Categories will also be divided into Grom (12 and under), Junior (13 to 16), Men's Open (Advanced), and Girl's Open. For the Grom, Junior, and Women's Open categories competitors will each get two runs taking their best run of the two. The top three competitors in each category will be walking away with some serious product from Oronge. For the Men's Open category entrants will get two runs in the qualifiers, and take their best run of the two. The top five competitors in the Men's Open qualifiers will then move on to the finals where they will again be given two runs, and take their best run of the two. On the line for the Men's Open category is $1000 cash ($500 for ski / $500 for board) and coveted Volcom Shredidential Blazers.
