Join the coveted list of “summiteers” that have reached the peak of Mt. Tod, on our fourth annual hike! It is a fun and enjoyable hike suitable for all ages where participants can travel at their own pace.
Several guides are on hand including Canadian Senator, Olympic Champion and our Director of Skiing, Nancy Greene Raine. This popular event is complimentary, but please register in advance so we can properly prepare (details coming soon).
Summiteers are invited to join Nancy Greene Raine for breakfast at Masa's at 9:00am. Following breakfast the Sunburst chair will be open early for "Reach the Peak" participants at 9:30am. Summiteers are asked to leave for the hike as early as possible as the round trip can take up to 4.5 hours.
Photographers will be on hand along the route to document the hike, all participants are encouraged to arrive at 1:00pm to the summit of Tod Mountain for the group photo.
Summiteers are encouraged to use the West Bowl trail and then the Tod Peak trail to access the summit, and return on Gil's trail, however other trails are available. Take a look at the hiking map below and bring one along on the hike.
