Local rancher and well known auctioneer, Barry Brady, has agreed to act as “Honourary Trail Boss” for the first Heritage Ride. Barry’s family has ranched in the valley and continues to range their cattle on all three peaks of Sun Peaks Resort. Barry, along with local horse wranglers, will lead guests through the historical range while sharing tales about the surrounding ranching community. The route will likely be 3-4 hours in duration and finish with a "cowboy lunch".

If you have your own horse you would like to bring, cost to participate in the event is only $20 and the staging area is in Parking Lot 5. For those wishing to participate who do not own a horse, they will be availalble for $150 for the afternoon, please contact Guest Services for more information.
