Event Details

New this winter, the Bros Ain't Pros Slopestyle open to both skiers and snowboarders. This by the riders, for the riders event hits the Rockstar Energy Terrain Park on January 28, 2012.

Categories & Format
Riders will compete in three divisions; Junior (14 to 18), Women's Open (Advanced) and Men's Open (Advanced). Each participant will get 2 runs in the preliminary round, keeping the score from the best of 2. The Junior category winners will be determined from the first round, and the top 5 competitors from the Men's and Women's Open categories will move on into the finals.

Event Schedule:

8:30am - 10:30am: *Registration in Village Day Lodge Breezeway
10:30am - 11:30am: **Open, mandatory practice through the designated course.
11:30am - 12:00pm: Riders' meeting at the top of the course.
12:00pm - 2:00pm: Preliminary round
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Finals for Open categories
4:00pm: Results and awards

Scoring & Points
Judges will be watching for difficulty and style in calculating each rider's score, and deductions will be applied where necessary. This is the second event of this season's series for the No Bail Peace Prize. Current standings can be found here and the final event of the series will be The Garden presented by Oronge Boardshop, on February 12, 2012.

*Participants under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian complete a release of liability upon their behalf at the time of registration, no exceptions will be made. Helmets are mandatory, so don't forget your lid.

**Riders MUST be able to ride the Black Terrain Park with confidence and participate in the mandatory practice in order for event coordinators to gauge ability.
