Join Gunner Rasmussen for an educational seminar discussing cross country ski equipment, clothing and waxing. Gunner will provide the information you need to know to decide what types of nordic skis to purchase, the binding that are best for you and simplify what clothing to wear out on the trails.   He will as well provide you a small piece of his vast knowledge on waxing and preparing your skis for the tracks.  Gunner owned and operated Gunner’s Ski Shop in 108 Mile Ranch for 22 years and was an assistant coach for the 1988 Olympic Nordic team. An avid skier and competitor, Gunner has raced and medaled in provincial, national and international x-country ski events. A Sun Peaks local in the winters, he can be spotted out on the Nordic trails nearly every day.

A Nordic package is also available for the day, including Nordic tickets, lessons, and optional equipment rentals.
