Event Details

Get your team together and start building your dummy for the annual Sun Peaks Dummy Downhill. All dummies need to be firmly attached to a set of skis capable of sliding down the hill, and hitting our custom built dummy downhill jump. Points are awarded for originality, design, appearance, and level of explosiveness upon impact. This is great event for participants as well as spectators.

Dummy Regulations:

1. Dummies must be free of any living cells, explosives, or remote controls
2. Dummies must be between 3 and 6 feet high and no wider than 3 feet wide at the base
3. Dummies must weigh no more than 75 lbs
4. Dummies must be secured - nailed, glued, welded, stapled, or stamped – to a pair of skis or snowboard and must be free of any sharp protrusions
5. Entrants must push their dummies from the start ramp
6. No further human contact with the dummy is allowed after the start
7. Dummies should remain on a prepared track, launch off an almost vertical ramp and potentially self destruct on impact
