The Sun Peaks Kookaburra Cup is back for its seventh year, and better than ever! Originally a key event in the Sun Peaks Family Cup 'All Nations' Celebration, this event continues to grow in popularity. This fun, family-oriented cross country race event is open to all ability levels.

There is a 30km course distance to enter as a skater or classic skier and receive a separate time. There is also a 15km distance. By skiing two laps of the 15km course you will complete the 30km loppet. There is also a 2km course for beginners, novice skiers, bunnies and rabbits, and a 5km course for rabbits and track attack skiers, and beginner-intermediate skiers looking for a bit more of a challenge.

The 2km, 5km, and 15km courses are free technique events which means you can skate or do classic technique and timing is combined for both techniques. The 30km course is for either skate or classic skiers with separate timing for both techniques.

Age Categories
