The Sun Peaks Family Cup Event Week has run for the last five years, and following the continued success in 2012, the rebranded Sun Peaks Family Cup - All-Nations Celebrations has increased in scope for 2013. The new, extended event will be held on January 2nd – 16th, 2013.

The two week celebrations consists of a variety of family focused activities, events and all ability competitions including the signature race "The Sun Peaks Family Cup". The Cup is a family style Snowsports event open to any individual, family or team from any Country. The youngest competitor to date was 2yrs and the oldest (declared age) was 71yrs. The event is conducted on a modified Dual GS type course and is suitable for all standards of competitor.

In 2013, Australian Olympic athletes Ben Sim (Nordic) and Ramone Cooper (Moguls), both of whom competed for Australia during the 2010 Winter Games, will be joining the Interschools Australia Committee at the 7th Annual Sun Peaks Family Cup – All Nations Celebration.

Awards are presented to all competitors who place in the top three of their respective division along with awards for the top three placing in the smallest time difference between two eligible timed runs on the course. Each competitor is allowed one run on each of the Blue and Red Courses which comprise approx 26 gates per course.
