The 2012-2013 winter season will see Sun Peaks Resort and Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks host the annual CADS Festival once again. During the week of March 24-31, 2013, future paralympians from all across Canada will gather at Sun Peaks Resort for the CADS Festival - a week encompassing two major events.

The CADS Ski Improvement and Race Development Program.

This event is for upcoming para-alpine skiers. Over 100 athletes with a disability of all ages and abilities will hit the slopes for ski improvement and racing development sessions. These individuals are the future generation of adaptive sport athletes and people to watch for on the podium in the years to come. Instructor training and recreational races for athletes, instructors and family members are also part of the weeks activities.

The Canadian National Para-Alpine Championships
