Event Details

 Back for its second year, the Bluebird Banked Slalom promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the year for racers and spectators alike! Thanks to a new location and a brand new course groomed meticulously over the summer months, this year's Banked Slalom has been moved to February and will utilize the naturally banked terrain of the 5 Mile's 'Hully Gully'.  This year we hope to raise over $2000 for the Bluebird Day Fund, a big thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and racers for participating in this event.

Open to both skiers and riders, participants will compete against the clock on a closed banked slalom course. Each rider will get one or two timed runs on the course, weather dependent.

Registration
Advance registration is required and limited to the first 100 entrants so visit Guest Services today or call 250-578-5474. Your entry fee not only gets you into this unique race with a chance at awards, tons of prizing and of course bragging rights, but you'll also score a sweet swag bag full of tonnes of goodies from sponsors, custom pint glass, T-shirt, beer and a burger, entry to the Masa's 'Bluebird Banked Slalom After Party', and $15 from every entry will go to the Bluebird Day Fund! 

Racer package pick-up and waiver signing will be done in the Village Day Lodge breezeway on Saturday, February 16 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and Sunday, February 17 from 7:30am to 9:00am.

Course will be open for inspection at noon on Feb 16th and from 9:00am to 9:30 on Feb 17th.

Racing Starts at 9:30am on the 17th.
