Sun Peaks, BC - Talented regional musicians will warm the stage on July 13 in anticipation of Burton Cummings and his full band at 7:00 p.m. Performers include Henry Small Band from Kamloops which includes the former electric violinist to Burton Cummings, as well as Peter Ernst & Spenser’s Dirty Matadors and Margit Bull & Sweet Grass.
Other performances will take place on the two village stages in Sun Peaks starting at 11:00 a.m. providing concert goers with entertainment all throughout the day.
The first in Sun Peaks’ 2013 Summer Concert Series, general access to the concert is free and has unlimited capacity. As chairs are not provided, guests are asked to bring blankets and lawn chairs so they are comfortable in the natural, outdoor amphitheatre located on Sunbeam ski run. Evening weather can also be cooler in the alpine setting so appropriate clothing and footwear is also recommended.
Weekend accommodation is still available at Sun Peaks, including two night stays starting at $125 per night.
