Sun Peaks, BC – The Sun Peaks & Region Farmers’ Market wraps up this Sunday, September 11th, with the last market of the summer season from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
The weekly Farmers’ Market at Sun Peaks has seen growth every year in the last few years and this summer was no exception with an average of 20 vendors setting up along the village stroll every week. From fresh vegetables and local meats and seafood, to arts and crafts and pottery, the variety of wares offered from vendors also increases every year.
“We are thrilled to be able to watch our Market grow on a weekly basis; not only with new vendors but new shoppers! It has been such a great summer and we can’t wait to start again next year!” Janice Nankivell, Events Coordinator with Tourism Sun Peaks.
Many of the vendors will return to Sun Peaks in December for the annual Christmas Market on December 16 and 17, allowing tourists and residents alike to get a jump on their holiday shopping.
