Sun Peaks, BC - Sun Peaks Resort is excited to announce the second major artist performing a Free Outdoor Concert event this summer. “Matthew Good Solo with Special Guests” will play in the picturesque alpine venue on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
Coming off an extremely successful concert event this month featuring Kevin Costner and Modern West, Sun Peaks' venue has proven to be the perfect setting for outdoor concerts featuring natural amphitheatre seating with a bustling village and ideal accommodation options to cater to concert goers.
General Access for the Matthew Good show will be free with tickets for a special Front Stage Access area available for purchase at $35 or in conjunction with an accommodation booking. Book a two night stay and receive two complimentary Front Stage Access tickets or book a one night stay and receive up to two Front Stage Access tickets for $25 each. A limited quantity of Front Stage Access tickets are available. Hotel rooms start at $89 per night.
Matthew Good, a popular Canadian artist, is known for his signature songwriting skills and socially conscious leanings. He will be filling the mountain air with refreshing acoustic solo sounds from his latest album, Lights of an Endangered Species, his other nine solo albums plus favourite hits from the Matthew Good Band.
Opening acts from the West Coast along with concert times will be announced soon and event organizers are planning for a fun atmosphere to carry throughout the day and evening.

Placed on the first weekend in September, this concert will launch a month of unique events such as the North Face Dirty Feet Mountain Run (September 8), Nancy Greene's 'Big Little Golf Benefit' (September 8), Womens' Wellness Weekend (September 14 to16), the brand new Oktoberfest (September 29) and others. It is also happening on “Labourless Weekend” (September 1 to 3) so guests can take advantage of specials and deals at retailers and food and beverage outlets throughout the village.
