Burton Cummings weekend seemed like the textbook time to seek the Sun Peaks Resort summer experience. Well, seek and ye shall find.

Our 2013 Summer Concert Series started off with Canadian rock legend, Burton Cummings & Band, on Saturday, July 13. It was a beautiful day, and guests took in chairlift rides, golfing, shopping and more in the village while watching live musicians from 11:00am onward.
Canada Cup DH Race at Sun Peaks Resort
The Sun Peaks Bike Park hosted the second race on both the BC Cup and Canada Cup DH circuits on Sunday, July 7, bringing some of Canada's top riders to the trails. Thanks to Virtu Media and Deathgrip Racing for compiling this awesome edit of the weekend!
Summer Kick-Off Weekend
To kick-off the summer season and celebrate the opening of the Sunburst chairlift for biking and hiking, each year we throw a fun festival in the village. The Mountain of Beer and Chili Cook-off is a crowd favourite, and new to the line-up was the West Coast Lumberjack Show. There's a kids zone, musical performances and much, much more.
