Each day at the Sundance Playschool is unique, exciting,
and filled with activities.
Children are entertained with a mixture of indoor play and outdoor activities weather permitting. Child minding is suitable for children 18 months to 5 years of age. Full day programs include lunch, beverages, and snacks. Half day programs include snacks and beverages. Child minding is open daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and the Sundance Playschool is located at the base of the Sunburst Express Chairlift. Please register for child minding prior to your vacation to ensure availability.
Important Documents to Remember
Upon checking in children at child minding, parents or guardians must present the following:
- Proof of medical coverage
- Immunization history
- Health Insurance Number
- Parents must provide a photo of their child for our records
Maximum Hours of Care
Under our license category, the Sundance Playschool must not provide child care for more than:
- 8 hours per day per child; or
- 40 hours within a 30 day period.
We are required by law to obtain these items in order to meet our licensing regulations. Photocopies of the above are acceptable. Save some time by completing the Emergency Information Form beforehand.

How to Register
Although we do take drop-ins for most of our lessons, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. Making advance reservations during peak periods is a must.

Booking and Payment Policies
- All payments must be paid in full at the time of booking childcare
- Between one week and 24 hours of your reservation there is a $15.00 administration fee for cancellations. This administration fee is per child.
- Inside 24 hours of your child minding no refunds will be issued for cancellations.
- Reserved dates of child minding can be changed up to 24 hours prior to the time of the original reservation. Within 24 hours of the reservation there is a $15.00 administration fee.
- Lessons are subject to 5% GST, child minding is GST exempt, and equipment rentals are subject to both 5% GST and 7% PST.
- Prices and programs are subject to change without notice.
