Sun Peaks Shares’ mission is to continue to grow and provide opportunities to as many deserving youth, families, and seniors as possible.

To date, over 200 youth and families have experienced the benefits of winter and summer activities at Sun Peaks Resort.   

Sun Peaks Shares plans to expand the reach of our two annual weekend events by adding an air transportation partner, and include participants from other communities across Canada in addition to Kamloops and the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area. Kids Up Front is a national organization active in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, as well as Vancouver, and is a potential future partner in these communities. 

Sun Peaks Shares operates under the Share the Mountain Foundation umbrella, a registered non-profit society in British Columbia (S-51664). In the future, the Share the Mountain Foundation plans to apply for status as a registered charity with the ability to issue tax receipts for donations. Donations on behalf of Sun Peaks Shares may be made to our community service partners for which tax receipts may be obtained.
