Bike Park Trail Status

Regular updates to the trail status grid will begin when the bike park opens in June 2008.

Trail Name       Ability   Status Notes
Smooth Smoothie Beginner Open Our easiest trail in the Bike Park. This is a wide and gentle trail to start on that has switch backs all the way the down mountain.
Cat Trax Advanced Open A reasonably technical trail through the trees with a drop at the end.
Steam Shovel Advanced Open This is our signature machine made trail for those who don't want to pedal. This trail features steep sections, jumps, tables, a wall ride, berms, drops, and rock faces.
Kaboom Advanced Open Technical single track, rock faces, drops, and steep loose shale sections. Not for the faint of heart.
Lever Lovers Beginner Open This trail is very similar to Smooth Smoothie, but with more technical sections. Can best be described as flowy.
Honeydrop Advanced Open Technical single track with loose dirt, and drops. Definitely one of the hardest trails on the mountain.
Insanity One Advanced Open This trail has Chayse Marshall written all over it. Insanity One is the most technical trail on the mountain with extremely steep sections. Just dropping into the trail takes balls.
DH Advanced Open DH is now open to the public. Please use caution, because the trail is now hella gnarly following the Canada Cup.
Barn Burner Intermediate Open This intermediate trail has a mixture of terrain and features with shale, machine made berms, single track, small drops, and a few steep sections.
Mach Intermediate Open A great trail to step up your riding if you are new to mountain biking.
Gummy Bear Intermediate Open Single track with technical sections. Another great trail to develop your skills on if you are new to mountain biking.
Cahilty Intermediate Open A very easy blue single track trail down the Cahilty ski run. Keep your eyes on the look out for water bars.
Road 04 Beginner Open This wide dirt road is used for trail connection. This road is shared with service vehicles so please use caution.
Lower Shortcut Beginner Open This wide dirt road is used for trail connection.
Flower Power Intermediate Closed Get ready to pedal! This single track cross country trail is a quick grinder through the trees.
Big Rock Ride Intermediate Closed A mellow ride to the reservoir.
Sugar Advanced Closed Sugar is closed during the week and open on weekends. This trail is hella technical with short steep sections, roots, and plenty of wood.
Reservoir Return Beginner Open A relatively flat trail back from the reservoir. If you're looking for a mellow ride this is a great trail.
Way Back Beginner Closed Another mellow route for those returning from the reservoir. This trail does require some pedalling.
Heifer's Grunt Beginner Closed If you're looking to spend a day on your bike exploring then this is the trail for you. A moderate pedal to the top of the Sundance will reward you with a different view of the resort. This trail is not suitable for DH bikes.
Way Out Beginner Closed As the name suggests this trail is your "Way Out" of Heifer's Grunt. This trail is also used to access the Ty Trail.
Around the Corner Beginner Closed A gentle trail that returns you to the top of the Sundance Express from Heifer's Grunt.
Ty Trail Advanced Closed We've all seen this trail on the map, but only a few have ridden it. Ty Trail is a narrow technical trail with a number of jumps.
Route 66 Intermediate Open This flowing machine made trail is filled with berms, and is suitable for a wide variety of abilities.
Home Run Beginner Open A wide trail with lots of wide wood bridges. Let off your brakes, and enjoy the 8" of travel.
Arm Pump Advanced Open Fun single track that rides fast and flowy with a few technical sections that will test your bike handling skills.
No Pump Beginner Open A very easy trail if you chose to start your run on any of the black trails located at the top of the bike park.
Black Bear Grind Intermediate Open This trail has a spandex only dress code. Black Bear Grind is our hardest cross country trail on the mountain.
Zazel Track Intermediate Open Depending on the route you choose this trail can be a mellow single track ride down the mountain, or a heart pumping grind to the top.
Rocky Mountain Flow Zone All Open This area is all about dirt jumping progression featuring four dirt jumping lines from beginner to expert.
Bomber X Advanced Open Backed by Marzocchi, our biker cross course features step ups, doubles, tables, a hip, and berm after berm.
Sweet One Advanced Open Get ready to have some fun between your legs! This single track trail is loaded with skinnies, wooden jumps, flowing ramps that go up and down, and bridges over creeks. This is definitely a trail that will take you a number of runs to master.
Wagon Wheel Beginner Open This is a beginner single track trail with a few jumps.
Behind Bars Advanced Open Formerly known as Bambi, Behind Bars features a number of wooden features, rock and stump jibs, and tables.
Keener aka Nut Eeven Advanced Open Yes Nut Eeven is spelled correctly. This is old school single track all the way down. With adequate shade from the trees, Keener is generally in great shape.
Smitty’s Steeps Advanced Open Just as the name implies this trail is steep with lots of loose rocks and drops.
Hi-Octane Advanced Open This DH trail is single track all the way with loose shale, and random rocks just waiting to smash your rear derailleur.
Root Dog Intermediate Open Root Dog is a narrow and technical trail through the trees, and features a lengthy log ride and a ton of roots.
Creeper Advanced Open This section drops off Steam Shovel and reconnects later down on the run. Creeper is a single track trail side cut into the mountain.
5 Mile Road Beginner Open This is a wide dirt road used for trail connection. Please be aware of service vehicles on this road.
