Olympic Champion and Female Athlete of the Century Nancy Greene is proud to call Sun Peaks Resort home.
As our director of skiing Nancy is out and about on the slopes as often as she can, and wants to make sure you have the best mountain experience possible. Skiing with Nancy is a truly world class experience for all abilities and ages. Drop by for a tour at the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift, and let Nancy show you the slopes.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Tours depart most Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00pm from the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift. Signs are posted at the bottom and top of the Sunburst and Sundance chairs stating if Nancy is on the slopes that particular day.
- Everyone is welcome, no matter what ability level you are!
A Message from Nancy
 "I enjoy skiing with visitors to Sun Peaks—and with locals too. My 1:00pm meeting time is always fun for me. I never know what kind of skiers and boarders will be waiting, and it is fun to figure out a way for everyone to have a good time. I'll always ski at a pace every one can enjoy, and I love to show off the many different parts of our three mountains. Depending on the group's level, I may start on a green or blue run, suggesting that the more advanced skiers take a run on their own. Then I say good-bye to the slower skiers, and it's off to more challenging slopes, or into the powder glades with the others. Part of the fun is introducing people to places they might not find on their own, and after 14 winters, I'm still excited to ski every day. Sun Peaks truly does have terrain to challenge and delight every skier— I look forward to seeing you on the slopes!" |
