While skills development is the focus of our Sun Kids lesson, we strive to ensure that the kids are enjoying themselves while learning, having fun with other kids, and at the end of the day wanting to get out on the ski slopes tomorrow.

These ski lessons are suitable for children ages 5 to 12 years of all ability levels, and these snowboard lessons are suitable for children 8 to 12 years of all ability levels. All programs shown are available for both skiing and snowboarding. Pricing below unless otherwise noted includes the lesson, and a supervised lunch for all full day programs. When deciding on what time of day to choose your lesson you might want to consider the afternoon sessions given that class sizes tend to be smaller allowing your child more one on one time with their instructor.

Full Day Learn to Ski / Snowboard
The Full Day Learn to Ski / Snowboard lesson is designed for kids who are trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time, and have the stamina to participate in a full day lesson. The Full Day Learn to Ski / Snowboard lesson package includes a full day lesson, rentals, a full day beginner area lift ticket, and a supervised lunch. The beginner area lift ticket allows the kids to use the Sundance Express Chairlift, Platter Lift, and Village Carpet Lift. This lesson is exclusive to kids to who are first timers, and is designed as an introduction. The Learn to Ski / Snowboard lesson is not suitable for multiple days.

Morning Half Day Learn to Ski / Snowboard
The Morning Learn to Ski / Snowboard lesson is perfect for kids who are trying a snow sport for the first time, but only have the stamina to enjoy a two hour lesson. The Morning Learn to Ski lesson package includes two hours of lesson time, rentals, and a full day beginner area lift ticket. The beginner area lift ticket allows the kids to use the Sundance Express Chairlift, Platter Lift, and Village Carpet Lift. This lesson is exclusive to first timers, and is designed as an introduction. The Learn to Ski / Snowboard lesson is not suitable for multiple days.

Sun Kids Half Day and Full Day Group Lessons
The Sun Kids Group Lessons is the next step in lesson progression following participation in the introductory Learn to Ski lesson. All full day lessons include a supervised lunch with the instructor. Full day Sun Kids lessons include a supervised lunch with the instructor. Daily rates do not include equipment rentals or lift tickets, but you can easily upgrade at a discounted price. Kids Adventure Club
The Kids Adventure Club is our signature kids program. By offering children consecutive lessons we’re able to really reinforce what is learned in the lessons, as well as provide you and your child with a familiar instructor. The Kids Adventure Club is also a great chance for kids to socialize with others from around the world in a fun and safe environment. This package includes full day lessons, lunches, a group photo souvenir, and a student progress card.

How to Register
Although we do take drop-ins for most of our lessons, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. Making advance reservations during peak periods is a must to guarantee you get the lesson you want.
