Event Description
Voter turnout is going to be high at the Oronge Shredidential Election '09 Slopestyle. The advanced terrain park will be the setting for this competition. No worries though for the younger riders, because the Terrain Park crew is putting in secondary lips on the large jumps to make them smaller for the younger athletes. This doesn't by any means change the level of competition for the more advanced entrants.
Snowboarders and skiers will compete in two separate categories. Categories will also be divided into Grom (12 and under), Junior (13 to 16), Open (Advanced), and Girl's Open. In the qualifying round, competitors will get two runs, taking their best score out of the two. The top athletes who make it to the finals will again get two runs using their best run out of the two. On the line for the Open division is also $1,000 cash! Winners of the Grom, Junior, and Girl's Open divisions will be taking home some serious product courtesy of Oronge.
Rules and Regulations
Helmets are mandatory, so don't forget your lid.
Participants under the age of 19 must also have a parent or guardian complete a release of liability upon their behalf at the time of registration. No exceptions will be made.
Registration
Registration will take place in the Village Day Lodge on Sunday, March 15, from 7:30am to 9:30am.
The registration fee is $30.00 per person for the Junior, Girl's Open, and Open divisions. The registration fee for the Grom division is $20.00 per person. All participants will have to leave a $5.00 deposit for a pinnie.

Shredidential Lift Ticket Rates
Participants in the Shredidential will recieve 40% off lift tickets for training day on Saturday, March 14, and on the day of competition. Reduced lift tickets are only available for sale at Guest Services located in the Village Day Lodge.
