Terrain Park Video Contests
This winter we’re stoked to partner with DC Snow and Rossignol to offer two great video contests – one for snowboarders and one for skiers.

DC Snowboard Video Challenge
DC Snowboard Video Challenge
Here is your chance for you and your friend to become known as the illest riders around, the most talented behind the lens, and also walk away with two outfits (jacket and pants) from DC Snow. Here is the catch though; your video submission must only involve two people. Both people can switch it up between working the camera and spending time in front of the lens, but no one else must be involved. Submit your video entries to our new Video Share section of the website for your chance to win two new suits from DC Snow. To submit your video click here.
Rossignol Video Challenge

Rossignol Scratch Video Challenge
Who ever is going to walk away with Rossignal’s 2007-08 Scratch skis better be ready to throw down at our park events this year. The only rule we have for this contest is that the footage must come from any or all of the events hosted in the Sundance Terrain Park this 2007-08 winter season. We’re also going to award four lift tickets to the winner, so they can bring their crew up to the mountain to ride the park with them. To learn more about the terrain park events please visit our online events calendar. To submit your video click here.
Contest Details
How to get your video submitted:
  • In your video you must incorporate either the title DC Snowboard Video Challenge (snowboard submission), or the title Rossignol Scratch Video Challenge (ski submission) at the start of your video submission. Throwing in the contest title can be done anyway you want – voice, graphics, chalk on pavement, whatever - just be creative.
  • Ensure that you complete all required fields on the Video Share section of the site following the guidelines below. Incomplete entries will be disqualified from the contest.
  • Both the DC Snow Video Challenge winner and the Rossignol Scratch Video Challenge winner will be announced April 10, 2008. Videos will be judged by our panel consisting of film maker Dom Koric, Digimatize Productions, and professional photographer Adam Stein, Alpine Images, and Corey Wiwchar, Sun Peaks Resort Corporation. Criteria for judging will include creativity, skills in front of the lens and behind, and who is having the most fun. Remember that you don’t need the best camera to put together a great video submission, so get out their and start shooting.
  • You won’t be surprised by this, but videos of slanderous, sexual, or offensive nature will not be posted.
  • Here comes the boring the legal talk. Once sent to us all videos become the property of Sun Peaks Resort Corporation for use at our own will in our marketing materials.  We will provide film makers with full credit, so everyone will get the props they deserve.
