A Run for Ryan

This February marks six years since Ryan Shtuka was reported missing from Sun Peaks.

On Saturday, February 17, the resort will once again host ‘A Run for Ryan’. This is an opportunity for the Sun Peaks community to gather and show their support for the Shtuka family while keeping Ryan top of mind. 

Ski Down Five Mile

All members of the Sun Peaks community, our guests, and anyone wanting to show their support for Ryan and his family are invited to meet at the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift at 3:00pm to take part in a group ski down the 5 Mile run.

Meet at the top of Tube Time

Once the group reaches the village, participants are invited to ride the Village Platter or Village Carpet up to the top, where Ryan was working during his season here in Sun Peaks. Complimentary hot chocolate will be provided at the top of the Village Platter lift.
