We're celebrating Canada Day all weekend long, with plenty of FREE activities for the whole family to enjoy!

Saturday schedule:

Family Fun Zone - 10:00am to 4:00pm - Upper Village
All kinds of fun including face painting by Girl Guides of Canada, art workshops, games and more!

BIG Little Science Centre - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Interactive Travel Booth. 

Climbing Wall - 11:00am to 4:00pm 
Test your climbing skills on this 24' high climbing wall with colour coded routes varying in difficulty. 

Matt Henry Big Bubble Show - 11:30am to 12:00pm 
These bubbles have to be seen to be believed!

Uncle Chris the Clown - 12:00pm to 4:00pm - Roving

Mountain of Beer & Chili Cook-Off - 12:30pm to 4:30pm

Matt Henry Comedy Juggling Stunt Show - 1:30pm to 2:00pm
Matt Henry, the "master of the unnecessary," has some serious skills--he won a world juggling championship--but it's his combination of one-of-a-kind stunts, humor, and audience participation that keep him in demand around the world.

Ryan Cook Carving - 2:00pm to 6:00pm - base of Sundance lift
As a professional chainsaw carver, Ryan turns his clients’ visions into works of art. He’s worked with clients from all over Canada including The Brick, Ducks Unlimited, Pioneer Log Homes and Shaw Media. Ryan is also a notable television personality having starred as a Pro Carver on HGTV’s “Carver Kings”.

Laughing Loggers  Timber Tots – 11:00am to 5:00pm – base of Sundance lift
In between scheduled shows, check out a host of events that kids can safely do in a controlled environment that gives them a chance to learn some new skills and understand some of the skills used in the timber industry. They will be shown how to set a choker, split a target, throw foam axes, drive nails and more. Great safe fun for kids of all ages as they find their inner Lumber Jack and Jill!
*Age restrictions apply for certain activities. 

Battle Axe Hatchet Throwing - 11:00am to 5:00pm - base of Sundance lift
In between scheduled shows, axe throwing lanes will be open for everyone to have a throw, with limited spots available to sign up for the Bottoms Up throwing tournament from 5:30pm. Cost to throw is $10 for 10 throws.

These Vancouver Lumberjacks and Jill’s have over 30 years combined experience in delivering an internationally acclaimed lumberjack entertainment show.

Laughing Loggers - 2:00pm to 2:30pm - base of Sundance lift 
These Vancouver Lumberjacks and Jill’s have over 30 years combined experience in delivering an internationally acclaimed lumberjack entertainment show.

Laughing Loggers - 5:00pm to 5:30pm - base of Sundance lift 
These Vancouver Lumberjacks and Jill’s have over 30 years combined experience in delivering an internationally acclaimed lumberjack entertainment show.

Bottoms Up Hatchet Throwing Tournament – 5:30pm - base of Sundance lift
Double elimination Battle Axe Hatchet Throwing tournament with spot prizes and major prizes for the champions. Limited spaces available, registration available between 11am - 5pm. Tournament play is $30 per person. 

Live Music - The Matinée - 6:00pm to 7:30pm - Clock Tower Square
The Matinée has evolved from its humble origins, on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, navigating their own route, to become a powerhouse roots rock band with a following spread across North America.

Stop by and have a chat with a few of Sun Peaks Firefighters. Check out the fire truck and learn about fire safety.

Kids Bike Parade - leaving at 10:30am Sharp! Meet in the Upper Village
Get dressed up in your favourite red & white, decorate your bikes and join us for a bike parade through the village & down to the Sunburst chair lift in honour of Canada Day! Please arrive early and be ready to ride at 10:30am.
