The Progression Park is a bike skills zone that’s the perfect place for kids and beginners of all ages to practice the core skills of mountain biking. Accessed via the Bike Park Carpets, the park features a selection of mini berm lines, technical lines, a jump line, drop section, pump track, and more! You learn tools to improve your riding technique in a safe and progressive environment.

Requirements

Helmets are mandatory in the Progression Park.

Children must be able to stand unassisted and dismount on their own on the Bike Park Carpets.

A parent/guardian must be with all children under the age of eight (8) years old at all times. 

Run bikes are permitted to use in the Progression Park provided they have a minimum of one (1) rear hand brake.

Applicable taxes will be added to all prices. Rates are in Canadian dollars. Dates and prices may be subject to change without notice. Some restrictions may apply. Each ticket and pass holder will be required to purchase a Mountain Card for $5.00 (available during your purchase process). This card can be reloaded for all subsequent visits. Tots 5 years of age can have full access to the Bike Park. Tots 4 and under can access the Progression Park only.

Pump Track

No need for descending here! Learn to pump your bike and look ahead as you create your own momentum on this continuous circuit of rollers and berms. 

Level Up

A low grade, longer machine-built trail with a wide and smooth surface. Practice your cornering and speed control.

Pinball wizard

NEW! Wide open and curvy, riders will experience easy and comfortable flow features like small berms, and small buffed rollers

Dungeon Crawl

NEW! A slight step-up from Pinball Wizard, Dungeon Crawl features slightly steeper and tighter berms.

Side Quest

An introduction to singletrack technical riding. Skinnier than Level Up with a rougher, more natural surface including roots and exposed rocks. 

Warp Zone

A wider machine-built trail with a smooth surface; an introduction to rollers and larger berms. Lower down, your choice of taking a table top jump line. 

Boss Battle

Practice control and tight cornering on a longer technical trail through the trees. Features a rock step and optional drop zone with three progressive heights. 

Bonus Level

Only after you've mastered the others, test your skills on a much more technical, steeper, and longer trail featuring exposed roots and rocks, a rock roll, table top jump, and rock drop.

  • Valid lift tickets are mandatory for all lift-access trails at all times. Tickets are NOT transferable
  • Helmets are mandatory for ALL riders. Other protective equipment is highly recommended. 
  • Please respect all trail closures for the safety of guests and employees. 
  • Run bikes are permitted to be used in the Progression Park, provided they have a minimum of one (1) hand operated rear bike. 
  • Bikes are designed for one (1) rider; additional seating or towing devices are prohibited from all our lift-access trails. 
  • Uphill riding is only permitted on lift access Sun Peaks Bike Park trails marked as 'XC', such as Altitude and Big Rock Ride. Riders should follow the trail direction on these trails at all times. Riding uphill on any other trails in the Bike Park is extremely dangerous and strictly prohibited.
