8th Annual Bluebird Banked Slalom/Demo Days, March 9 – 10

Bluebird Banked Slalom

The Bluebird Banked Slalom is back for its 8th year and promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the year for racers and spectators alike. The slalom course cruises down the naturally banked terrain of 5 Mile’s ‘Hully Gully’ creating a fun challenge for both skiers and riders. While you’re at the race, be sure to check out the demo booths set up at the base of the Sunburst and Sundance chairlifts to try the latest and greatest gear from a few of our favourite ski and board partners.

Nordic Festival, March 16 - 17

Nordic Festival

Come out for a weekend full of Nordic fun at the Sun Peaks Nordic Festival. Warm up on Saturday night with the sprint challenge, then settle in with your choice of loppet distance on Sunday. Pick one or the other if you’re not up for both. All ages and ability levels are welcome to take part in the festival. A post-race social will be held at the Nordic Centre with over $2,000 worth of draw prizes to win!

With headliners Illenium and Cypress Hill, festival-goers will be partying the night away after a day spent on the slopes.

Tod Mountain Days, April 13 – 14

Tod Mountain Days

The end of the downhill ski season is always a bit sad, but Tod Mountain Days helps makes it a bit sweeter. Take part in the Slush Cup with dozens of decked out skiers and snowboarders and send it into a pool of water. Or, take part in the Top to Bottoms Run and make your way down the hill right to the Bottoms Bar & Grill patio. This weekend event is sure to be fun for the entire family!
