Sun Peaks, BC (September 13, 2019) – Sun Peaks gears up for it’s 2nd Annual Fall Festival returning Saturday, September 28.

Throughout the day, guests will enjoy free events such as the Classic Car Show n Shine featuring classic cars from as early as 1931, the President’s Choice Super Dogs theatrical stunt dog performance, and interactive activities for the kids. Put your craft skills to the test at the pumpkin and cookie decorating events, or register for the popular pie eating contest (pre registration is required).

Music enthusiasts can enjoy performances by Kamloops musician and CBC Music 2019 Searchlight top 10 artist, Madison Olds from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the upper plaza stage. Okanagan based, contemporary folk musician, Lowell Friesen rounds out the evening at Morrisey’s Public House from 8:00pm – 10:00pm.

For the 19+ crowd, the Sun Peaks Cider Fest returns showcasing the best of BC cideries and award-winning craft breweries to deliver a unique and intimate tasting experience. Guests will indulge in the flavours of the Okanagan while taking in the dynamic sounds of singer-songwriter, Marshall Potts.

“We are excited for an even bigger and better Cider Fest this year and have relocated to the Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom to allow for even more guests to enjoy the festivities. Tickets are selling quickly with more than 80% sold already” says Janice Hoppenreys, Events Manager for Tourism Sun Peaks.

Tickets for Cider Fest are $40 + taxes and fees.
