Event Details

One of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Kevin Costner, and his band, Kevin Costner & Modern West, touch down in Sun Peaks on July 7 for a free outdoor concert event during the 5th Annual Wine & Culture Festival. Supporting acts are local talent Margit Bull and Sweet Grass, WEEDS, and Paul Filek.

The General Access area is first come, first serve, so arrive early to place your lawn chair or blanket to secure your spot. Please note: tents will be not be allowed to ensure un-obscured viewing for everyone in attendance.

VIP & Special Access Areas will open at 2pm.

Day visitors are encouraged to carpool to help us conserve parking spaces while being good to our environment.

Don't forget to wear decent outdoor shoes, bring bug spray and a warm sweater or jacket as it can be cooler in the mountains!

Costner’s connection to music spans a lifetime and took root two decades ago as a rock band of close friends called Roving Boy. As Costner’s acting career soared with films such as The Bodyguard and Dances with Wolves, the music quietly continued. But in 2005, with the urging of Kevin’s wife to reconnect with his music, the band Kevin Costner and Modern West emerged with influences from a broad tapestry of American music.
