Sunday: Sunny with a few clouds in the afternoon. Wind variable 5 to 10 km/h. High near minus 6°C.
Sunday night: Increasing cloud. Chance of a flurry after midnight. Wind S to SW 5 to 15 km/h. Low near minus 9°C.

A weak ridge of high pressure, along with a drier, cooler W to NW flow aloft, will bring mainly sunny conditions to the resort today. A low-pressure system forecast to form near Haida Gwaii tonight, then drop southward just off the BC coast on Monday, will spread cloud over the resort along with a chance of flurries. Snowfall amounts, if any, will be light. Light and variable winds can be expected on the slopes today and tonight, then become a bit stronger from the S to SE on Monday as the circulation around the offshore low becomes stronger. Temperatures will remain seasonably cool.
Tuesday to Thursday: Computer models continue to forecast a cooler pattern through the outlook period, with freezing levels staying well below village level. On Tuesday, an upper trough over southern BC will keep variable cloud cover and at least a chance of flurries for the resort. An arctic cold front is now forecast to drop southward across the area on Wednesday, bringing a chance of flurries and gusty N to NW winds. On Thursday, a dry Arctic airmass is expected to settle over the region, bringing sunshine and cold temperatures.
