Thank you to everyone who came out for our 2026 Locals Days. Together, you helped support the Kamloops Bike Riders Association, Kamloops Mountain Bike Trail Association and Sun Peaks Recreational Trail Association.

We appreciate everyone who joined us for an evening of riding while giving back to the local trail organizations that help make mountain biking in our region possible.

Who’s a Local?

If you reside within a 70km radius of 3150 Creekside Way, Sun Peaks you’re considered a local. This includes residents of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clearwater, Logan Lake, and Merritt. If you're unsure if you qualify, contact Guest Services. Guest Services may also reach out if your primary residence does not meet the eligibility criteria.

Purchase Tickets Safely

Sun Peaks Resort does not sell lift tickets through social media, online forums, classified listings or other unauthorized third-party channels. Tickets obtained through these sources are not valid and may be associated with fraudulent payment methods or unauthorized credit card transactions. Sun Peaks Resort is not responsible for any resulting losses. Tickets are non-transferable. To ensure authenticity, purchase directly through the Sun Peaks Resort online store.

Minimum Bike and Protective Equipment Requirements

These requirements are in place to help ensure the safety of all guests. See Bike Park Rules for complete rider responsibilities and safety information.

Bike Park (Chairlift Access)

  • Front suspension is required. Full suspension is strongly recommended.
  • Fully rigid bikes (no suspension) are not permitted.
  • Bikes must have one functioning disc brake on each wheel. V-brakes are not permitted.

Progression Park (Surface Lift)

  • Mountain bikes and run bikes must have at least one hand-operated rear brake.
  • Rigid bikes are permitted.

Protective Equipment

  • Helmets are mandatory for all riders. A full-face helmet and other protective equipment, such as gloves and knee pads, are strongly recommended.

2026 Bike Park Tickets Terms and Conditions

Operating Dates

  • Full-Day Tickets: Valid June 13 to September 7, 2026, from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and September 8 to 27, 2026, from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Twilight Tickets: Valid June 13 to September 7, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
  • Trail and lift access and hours of operation may vary due to weather or conditions.

Advance Purchase and Ticket Policies

  • Tickets purchased on the same day of use are subject to full rates.
  • Multi-day tickets must be used on consecutive days.
  • All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Shared Parent Day Tickets

  • A shared parent ticket may be available.
  • Parents must have a child (0–12) who is not biking and requires supervision.
  • Please inquire with Guest Services in the Village Day Lodge to confirm eligibility. 

Tots Access

  • Tots five and older have full Bike Park access.
  • Tots four and under may access the Progression Park only.

Progression Park Access

  • Progression Park access is included with the following: Bike Park Season Passes, Bike Park Peaks Cards, Full-Day Tickets, Twilight Tickets, 1 Ride, Progression Park + 1 Ride, and Progression Park Tickets.

Mountain Card

  • Each ticket and pass holder must purchase a Mountain Card (RFID Card) for $5.00 (available during checkout). This card can be reloaded for all subsequent purchases.

Fraud Prevention

  • Tickets sold through social media, forums or classifieds may be linked to fraudulent credit cards. Tickets are non-transferable. To avoid disappointment, purchase only through our official online store.
