Connect Four: Bike Park Lessons for Riders 50+

This weekly, skill-based local program provides everything you need to elevate your riding performance. Each lesson focuses on a specific skill theme and is tailored to your individual development, with consistent attention to rider safety. 

Open to adults aged 50 and older, the program accommodates all skill levels—from novice to advanced riders—and is taught by experienced, mature instructors.

Your package includes:

  • A two-hour coaching session with a certified instructor
  • 3:1 student to coach ratio
  • Six sessions tailored to your skill level
  • A minimum of two participants per level required: Progression Park, Green Park, Blue Park, and Black Park

Ages and Ratios50 and up (3 students to 1 instructor)
AbilityMinimum: Beginner; must be able to load own bike onto chairlift bike carrier and ride chairlift independently. Be competent on a mountain bike, gain confidence while refining skills and take your riding a step further

Safety Equipment

Progression Park
Required: Helmet, knee pads
Recommended: Full face helmet, elbow pads, gloves, chest and back protection suitable to age, rider ability and personal comfort level

Green Park
Required: Helmet, knee pads, elbow pads
Recommended:  Full face helmet, gloves, chest and back protection suitable to age, rider ability and personal comfort level

Blue and Black Park
Required: Full face helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, chest and back protection suitable to age, rider ability and personal comfort level

Minimum Bike RequirementsBikes must have disc brakes and front suspension

Listed rates apply to lessons only. Equipment rentals and lift tickets are not included, but may be purchased as add-ons at the time of booking. A $6.00 damage waiver is included in listed rental prices. Lift ticket rates exclude a $5.00 Mountain Card fee. All rates are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes. Lessons are non-transferable.

Importance of advance reservations

Although we do take drop-ins for lessons, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure availability. Making advance reservations during holiday periods is a must to guarantee you get the lesson you want.

Booking and payment policies

  • All lessons must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • A $15.00 administration fee applies to cancellations within one week of your reserved lesson. It also applies to any schedule changes within 24 hours of start time.
  • For cancellations within 24 hours of your reserved lesson time, no refunds will be issued.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed lessons.
  • All rates are in Canadian dollars.
  • Applicable taxes will be added to all prices.
  • Dates, times, and prices may be subject to change without notice.
