Sun Peaks is committed to your safety. There are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Below are a few essential policies, tips and procedures to help you enjoy our mountain playground safely.

Your legal responsibility as a user of the ski area premises and facilities or participant in activities at the ski area is explained in the following notice, which you will see posted in the ski area.

Regardless of how you use the trails, always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Please adhere to the rules and code listed below and share with others the responsibility for a safe outdoor experience.

All routes within the Bike Park are designated by colour-coded trail markers at the start of each descent. Trails with an orange oval indicate freeride trails with man-made features and may require jumping skills.

It's important to remember that our lifts are heavy machinery. For the safety of our guests and staff, we ask you to follow our tips for loading, riding, and unloading all chairlifts at Sun Peaks Resort and have a safe lift ride.
