Boasting a top-to-bottom, 10-acre terrain park accessed by the Sundance Express chairlift, park laps have never been easier. The park stands out for its true top-to-bottom design and built-in progression. The terrain park gets progressively more challenging as you move down the mountain, letting you ride non-stop from the first feature all the way back to the chairlift, a flow that riders love.
Our dedicated Terrain Park crew, snowmakers and groomers work together to open the park early, keep the corduroy fresh, and update the layout throughout the season with new features to keep you coming back for more. Two snowcats are dedicated to The Terrain Park, ensuring it’s always in peak shape. The passionate crew keeps pace with our riders’ progression, building larger jumps and reworking features all season long.
With four distinct zones and more than 45 finely tuned features, we’ve got you covered with jumps, rails, boxes and fun urban hits - including Kamloops-inspired street rails and our legendary 50-footer. For even more action, check out the Powder Ventures Cross Course located beside Drop Zone, expanding the total park area to roughly 35 acres of terrain.
Base Camp offers the widest variety of features, from small to extra large, making it fun for riders of all ability levels. Accessed using the Village Platter, Base Camp stays open late for hot laps until 7:00pm. It’s also the first terrain park to open each season, often kicking things off on opening day if conditions allow.
Basic Training is great for beginners, or serves as a warmup area before taking on the rest of the park. Located just below the top of the Sundance Express, this zone is home to ride-on features such as small rails, and small to medium boxes.
Flight School features two lines with varying levels of difficulty, so you can choose the one that matches your ability. Here you’ll find medium to large boxes and rails, medium jumps, and creative snow features such as whale tales and spines.
Drop Zone is the most challenging zone, with features ranging from medium to extra large. It includes six jumps, from 15 to 60 feet, along with the largest rails, jumps, and boxes on the mountain. A slope style line within Drop Zone is home to freestyle competitions such as Canada cup and Timber Tour Events. The largest and most creative rails and boxes are found in a section of Drop Zone known as “The Garden.”
