Indulge in food, wine, and winter adventure at Sun Peaks Resort with the second annual Savour the Sun Mountain Wine Festival.

A partnership between Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country and Sun Peaks Resort, will bring some of the region’s most celebrated winemakers to the popular mountain destination. Anchored to five signature events, snow lovers can spend the day on the slopes before savouring rare and expressive wines paired with delicious food created by the Sun Peaks Resort culinary team.

Uncork the Blackbox

Thursday, December 5

The festival kick-starts with Uncork the Blackbox event. Join us at the Sun Peaks Grand Banquet Kitchen for an interactive culinary experience featuring Chef Hans Stierli, Sun Peaks Grand, and Chef Derek Uhlemann, Oliver Eats, in a head-to-head blackbox challenge using the same ingredients and highlight different culinary styles. The dishes will be paired with wines from select Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country wineries.

Savour the Sun at Sunburst

Friday, December 6

This unique mid-mountain event offers guests the opportunity to take guided night ski down the hill following the experience. Winemakers from six renowned Oliver Osoyoos wineries will feature private collection wines not available to the general public; and share their passion and winemaking philosophy with you while you enjoy spectacular culinary pairings from the team at Sun Peaks Resort.

Uncork Oliver Osoyoos

Saturday, december 7

Sommelier-facilitated wine class featuring varietals that are putting Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country on the international map, such as Syrah, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. This class will compare wines from our region to those from around the globe; wrap up this interactive session with one-on-one time at a mingling reception to ask questions of your sommelier.

Complete your Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country weekend with an indulgent brunch including region bubble and crisp whites.
