BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WHICH ARE A BINDING CONTRACT. AS SUCH, PLEASE READ THESE CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THE CONTEST SO THAT YOU CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS, OBLIGATIONS, AND THE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU AND US.

Contest Description

This Returning Alpine Season Pass Holder Appreciation Contest (“Contest”) is operated by Sun Peaks Resorts LLP (“we”, “us”, “Sun Peaks”) and is governed by these Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”). These Terms are a binding contract between you, a participant in the Contest, and us.

Entry Period: The Contest entry period begins at 9:00am Pacific Time on November 12, 2025, and ends at 11:59pm Pacific Time on November 19, 2025.

Draw Date: The draw will take place on November 20, 2025, before 4:00pm Pacific Time.

How to Enter and Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements: To enter, you must:

  • Be 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  • Be strong intermediate skiers or snowboarders (no exceptions) with the ability to comfortably ski or snowboard in early season conditions in trees and gladed areas.

Employees, representatives, and agents of Sun Peaks and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. One entry per person.

Prize winners acknowledge that their name, likeness, and images may be used by Sun Peaks for marketing and social media purposes.

How to Enter: You may enter the Contest one of two ways:

  • Submit a “Mail-In Request” by legibly hand-printing your full name, complete mailing address (including postal code), telephone number (including area code) and email address on a single 3X5 piece of paper and mail it (along with a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope) in an envelope (with sufficient postage) to: Returning Alpine Season Pass Holder Appreciation Contest, Sun Peaks Resort LLP, 1280 Alpine Road, Sun Peaks, BC V0E 5N0.
  • All Mail-In Requests must be postmarked by the end of the Entry Period, and only those received by November 19, 2025, at 11:59pm Pacific Time will be eligible.
  • If an eligible Mail-in Request is received (as determined by us in our sole and absolute discretion), the participant that submitted such Mail-in Request will be provided with one entry into the Contest.
  • Limit of one Mail-in Request per person. Limit of one Mail-in Request per envelope with sufficient postage. For greater certainty, each Mail-in Request must be mailed in a separate envelope bearing sufficient postage and mass Mail-in Requests in the same envelope will be void.
  • We are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or illegible Mail-in Requests (all of which are void).

The Prize

Two (2) deluxe prize packages will be awarded. Each package includes:

  • One (1) night of accommodation
  • One (1) day of unlimited vertical heli-skiing for two (2) people
  • Professional guiding, safety equipment, gourmet meals, and ski or snowboard rentals
  • Trip dates will be scheduled directly with Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing during the 2025–26 season (availability dependent).

The prize excludes:

  • Transfers (winners must arrange their own transportation to Blue River, BC)
  • Beverages

Approximate retail value of each prize package: CAD $5,000 (based on 2025–26 season rates). The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, with no cash alternative. Sun Peaks Resort reserves the right to replace the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

The Draw

The draw will take place on November 20, 2025.

Two finalists will be randomly selected by computer and contacted using the information provided on their entry form.

If a selected finalist does not respond within five days, a new winner will be chosen.

Two additional names will be drawn as standbys in case of last-minute cancellations.

Winner Requirements

Winners must meet the eligibility requirements noted above. Eligibility will be confirmed by phone or video call with Sun Peaks. Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing staff reserve the right to restrict participation if winners do not meet the criteria.

In order to be declared a winner, an eligible finalist must:

  • Sign a Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Release of Liability Waiver;
  • Complete onsite safety training;
  • Confirm their agreement to the publication, reproduction, or use of the winner’s name, address, voice, statements about the Contest or a photograph or other likeness of the winner without further notice or compensation to the winner, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or behalf of us in any manner or medium whatsoever;
  • Confirm their agreement to these Terms in writing; and
  • Correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question without mechanical or other aid.

If a winner is unable to attend on the scheduled trip dates, another name will be drawn. We are not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, or phone number by participants.

All participants and Contest-related information provided by a participant are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of compliance with these Terms (including, without limitation, proof of identity and/or eligibility) in a form acceptable to us (including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any Contest-related information submitted or received (or purportedly submitted or received) for the purposes of this Contest; or (iii) for any other reason we deem necessary, in our sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Terms. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of Sun Peaks within the timeline specified by us may result in disqualification in our sole an

All information supplied by a participant for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any participant should we deem that a participant at any stage supplied untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information.

General Liability Disclaimer and Release

By participating in this Contest, all participants assume all liability for, and ‎neither Sun Peaks or any of our agents and associated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, successors, mandataries and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) are responsible for and expressly disclaim any liability for, any claims, causes ‎of action, liabilities, losses, damages, costs (including legal fees),‎‏ or injury ‏‎(including any injury or damage to persons or property) (collectively, “‏Claims”), caused by or arising or ‎resulting directly or indirectly from (or claimed to be caused by or arising or resulting directly or ‎indirectly from): (i) incorrect or inaccurate entry information that may affect a person’s ability to ‎participate in the Contest or be awarded a Prize (whether arising from human error, technical ‎malfunctions, lost or delayed entries for any reason, mail failures, omission, or any combination ‎thereof, or entries that fail to fully comply with these Terms, or otherwise); (ii) technical failures of any ‎kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines, the ‎internet, or network hardware or software; (iii) lost, incomplete, delayed, mutilated or misdirected entries; (iv) injury or damage to participants’ computers or to any other individual’s ‎computer related to or resulting from participating in, or downloading any material regarding the ‎Contest or accepting a Prize; (v) a participant’s participation in (or inability to participate in) the Contest or ‎receipt or use or misuse of any Prize (or inability to receive or use any Prize), including any related ‎travel and the use of entries by us; (vi) the security or privacy of information transmitted via ‎computer networks or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer hackers or ‎otherwise; (vii) a participant’s failure to comply with these Terms; or (viii) late, lost, misdirected or ‎unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential winner. ‎

General Conditions

By entering this contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of Sun Peaks, which are final and binding.

This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, withdraw, amend or suspend the Contest (or to amend these Terms) in any way, in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control that interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Terms, including, without limitation, any error, problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, health risks or governmental restrictions, fraud or failure of any kind whatsoever.

We reserve the right to, in our sole and absolute discretion to administer an alternate test of skill as we deem appropriate based on the circumstances or to comply with applicable laws.

In the event of a conflict between any Contest details contained in these Terms and any Contest details contained in Contest advertising materials (including, but not limited to, online, point of sale, television, and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotion media), the details of the Contest as set forth in these Terms shall prevail.

The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
