Located 6 kilometres from Sun Peaks village, this pristine lake offers a fantastic way to connect with nature.
Canoes, kayaks and paddleboards come equipped with all necessary gear. Enjoy a relaxing day on the lake with a full-day rental or a mid-afternoon rental available after 1:30pm.
Participants must have prior canoe, kayak or paddleboard experience. Single and two-person kayaks are available.
Check in at the Activities Desk, then self-drive to McGillivray Lake, where the canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are located. The lake is accessible by vehicle via a marked dirt service road.

Applicable taxes will be added to all prices. Rates are in Canadian dollars. Dates and prices may be subject to change without notice. Some restrictions may apply. Please note minors aged 13 and over with prior paddling experience can use a paddleboard or a single/double kayak. Minors must be accompanied by an adult out on the water and always remain in close sight of the adult renter (19+). All minors under the age of 13 must be in a boat (canoe or double kayak) with an adult. Minors cannot rent equipment without an adult. A waiver must be signed by the renter and all participants.
