FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SUN PEAKS, BC (DECEMBER 21, 2022): Continuing a long tradition of support for community initiatives, Sun Peaks Resort is announcing a donation of $10,000 to the Kamloops Food Bank as the holiday season kicks into full swing. This donation will assist during a critical time of need for this highly valued community service.

“The Kamloops Food Bank has been there for so many people, especially in the last couple of challenging years. It’s very important for our organization that we recognize and support the efforts to help this essential work continue,” says Aidan Kelly, Chief Marketing Officer, Sun Peaks Resort.

“In recent years, the Kamloops Food Bank has evolved as a regional food hub, providing services and resources for many communities in the area. With expanded facilities and functions, the food bank is able to provide a greater level of support than ever before, but we can’t do it without the help of partners such as Sun Peaks Resort. Donations such as this make a significant positive impact,” says Bernadette Siracky, Executive Director, Kamloops Food Bank.

Sun Peaks Resort has been a key partner of the Kamloops Food Bank for over a decade and looks forward to providing additional support through various initiatives for years to come. Sun Peaks guests and residents are also encouraged to support the food bank through online donations and other avenues where possible.
