Located at mid-mountain near the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift, the Bar + Eatery at the Sunburst Lodge offers scenic views of Headwalls ski run and the surrounding valleys. Renovated in 2017, this lodge now boasts double the capacity upstairs, as well as additional seating downstairs to enjoy your lunch from home.
The restaurant features a fresh, tasty menu for breakfast and lunch, as well as a full service bar. For a classic Sun Peaks treat, try one of our famous cinnamon buns, baked fresh daily! Our selection of delicious food and drink stations are sure to satisfy all of your mid-ski refueling needs. You can dine with lunch from home in the designated seating area on the ground floor. The Sunburst Bar + Eatery is home to the weekly Alpine Fondue & Starlight Descent event, a stunning way to experience the slopes after hours.
With stunning mountain views, bar, and a large outdoor patio, stop by and enjoy the sunshine post bike or hike. A convenient grab-and-go menu is available, which you can stay and enjoy in the restaurant, featuring a selection of sandwiches, fruit cups, and baked treats made fresh daily.

Introducing Sun Peaks Resorts’ newest culinary leader, Executive Chef Luca Paola!
From a childhood revolving around the family’s traditional Italian kitchen and vegetable garden, Paola was destined to follow a path in the culinary industry. Luca’s journey has taken him to all corners of British Columbia’s diverse culinary landscape, with a focus on seasonal local produce allowing him to flourish in kitchens throughout BC’s wine region and at the luxurious Clayoquot Wilderness Resort on Vancouver Island. Most recently, Paola served as the Executive Chef at Whitewater Ski Resort, furthering their renowned commitment to quality, wholesome food for the past three years.
His love for the ski industry has now brought him to Sun Peaks to lead the slopeside kitchens of Canada’s second largest ski area. Overseeing Masa’s Bar + Grill, the Sunburst Lodge, and The Annex, Chef Paola will be feeding thousands of skiers from across the globe fresh, delicious, and regionally infused dishes to fuel their mountain adventures.
