Driving to Sun Peaks
Enjoy the scenic drive to Sun Peaks through BC's mountain passes and valleys. Sun Peaks is just a 45-minute drive northeast of Kamloops, BC. Check Drive BC for the latest road conditions and reports.
Flying to Sun Peaks
Sun Peaks is easily accessible by air via Kamloops Airport just a 50-minute drive from the resort. WestJet and Air Canada provide direct flights from major cities such as Vancouver and Calgary. Shuttles to Sun Peaks are available from the Kamloops Airport.
You can also fly to Kelowna International Airport and take ground transportation with a 2 hour and 45-minute drive to Sun Peaks.

Check Weather Conditions
Weather conditions in BC’s mountain passes can change quickly. Snowfall can happen in any month in high elevations. Before you get on the road, check current weather conditions along your planned route. Be sure to drive to the conditions.
Covid-19 Policies and procedures
Sun Peaks Resort will continue to follow provincial health guidelines and update COVID-19 operating procedures as needed.
International Travel
Canada is welcoming International travellers by land and air with some exceptions. Travellers should review entry, testing, and quarantine requirements prior to travel. As of April 1, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test when entering Canada. Fully vaccinated travellers may be randomly selected for airport arrival testing but are not required to quarantine while awaiting test results.
