Amethyst Noir: An Evening of Community, Purpose, & Impact

A fundraising Gala operated by the Sun Peaks Volunteer Fire Department Society in support of Kamloops Search & Rescue and The Sun Peaks Alpine Club.

In 1998, the Sun Peaks Volunteer Fire Department Society created the Sun Peaks Annual Charity Firefighters’ Gala to draw attention to the meaningful work being conducted by volunteer firefighters and to assist fellow not-forprofits (our Event Benefactors) in earning additional financial support through sharing in Gala revenues.

The Annual Gala takes place each November and includes an online silent auction (allowing both those who can and cannot attend the main event the opportunity to bid on items to support the cause), a plated 3-course meal, opportunities to take part in at-event raffles, an industry awards presentation, a live auction, and evening entertainment/dance.

This November, join us for Amethyst Noir - a sophisticated evening event where rich jewel tones, flickering (LED) candlelight, and shimmering gold accents create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and intrigue.

Guests will enjoy a memorable evening of fine dining, community celebration, entertainment, and fundraising in support of Kamloops Search and Rescue (KSAR), and the Sun Peaks Alpine Club (SPAC).
