Breakfast, lunch... and beer! The Annex is a relaxed, family friendly venue to grab a bite before hitting the slopes. Newly renovated and boasting an increased seating capacity, the former Bento's Day Lodge offers an updated interior and brand new menu each winter.
Drop in to warm up, meet for breakfast or lunch, or grab a snack for the chairlift. Tasty meals for those with a hearty appetite looking for quick service. The Annex is also home to our world famous, gooey cinnamon buns, baked fresh each morning!
Microwaves are available for public use but we ask that guests with their own lunches please use the designated seating area at the West end of the building.
There is limited storage space available on a first come, first serve basis. If the storage cubbies are full please store bags in your vehicle; bags placed on the floor are a fire hazard. There is no overnight storage available.
The Annex offers free Wi-Fi and is available for private functions and evening parties.

Introducing Sun Peaks Resorts’ newest culinary leader, Executive Chef Luca Paola!
From a childhood revolving around the family’s traditional Italian kitchen and vegetable garden, Paola was destined to follow a path in the culinary industry. Luca’s journey has taken him to all corners of British Columbia’s diverse culinary landscape, with a focus on seasonal local produce allowing him to flourish in kitchens throughout BC’s wine region and at the luxurious Clayoquot Wilderness Resort on Vancouver Island. Most recently, Paola served as the Executive Chef at Whitewater Ski Resort, furthering their renowned commitment to quality, wholesome food for the past three years.
His love for the ski industry has now brought him to Sun Peaks to lead the slopeside kitchens of Canada’s second largest ski area. Overseeing Masa’s Bar + Grill, the Sunburst Lodge, and The Annex, Chef Paola will be feeding thousands of skiers from across the globe fresh, delicious, and regionally infused dishes to fuel their mountain adventures.
