A Run for Ryan

he Annual Ski Run for Ryan Shtuka

This February marks nine years since Ryan Shtuka was reported missing from Sun Peaks. On Sunday, February 15, the resort will once again host A Run for Ryan. This is an opportunity for the Sun Peaks community to gather, show support for the Shtuka family and keep Ryan top of mind.

Ski down Five Mile

All members of the Sun Peaks community, our guests and anyone wishing to show their support for Ryan and his family are invited to meet at the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift at 3 p.m. to take part in a group ski down Five Mile.

Meet at the top of the Village Platter lift

Once the group reaches the village, participants are invited to ride the Village Platter or Village Carpet to the top, where Ryan worked during his season in Sun Peaks. Complimentary hot chocolate will be provided at the top of the Village Platter lift.
