ABOUT THE RACE
We are excited to announce that the TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic fundraising is returning for its 27th edition, and we're more committed than ever to bringing joy back on the slopes!
Save the date and be part of this classic event on Saturday, January 27, 2024! You won't want to miss the fun - this season's race format will feature a four-person ski/snowboard team competing on a recreational cross course, which was a blast in previous years!
SUPPORTING THE SUN PEAKS COMMUNITY
Besides having a good time, you know you'll be contributing to a great cause.
The TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic is a major fundraising event for the Sun Peaks community. We are proud that the past donations helped the Sun Peaks Community Health Centre become a reality. We are raising money to support education at Sun Peaks, where over 160 students from K-12 are now educated in temporary portable classrooms. Our dream is for a community school that will be an education centre, including a library and a full-sized gymnasium for everyone, regardless of age. We appreciate your help in building this dream together!
The funds will support the Sun Peaks Education Society as the primary beneficiary while we also continue our traditional donation to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING?
- The race will be for teams of four people. Bring your own four-person team or register as an individual – no worries, you'll be assigned to a team.
- We encourage participation - invite your friends or work colleagues!
- All ability levels (no previous race experience required)
- Skiers and snowboarders
- Ages 19+
- Each team must have at least one member of the opposite gender to be eligible for awards

As part of this year's TELUS Nancy Greene Alpine Classic, we are organizing a Silent and Live Auction.
For those not taking part in the race, a limited number of tickets to the Gala may be available.
