Discover canoeing, kayaking or paddleboarding and delight in the beauty of McGillivray Lake.

Located 6km from the Sun Peaks village, this pristine lake provides a fantastic experience and a way to get back in touch with nature. 

Canoes/kayaks/paddleboards come equipped with all the necessary equipment, so you can relax and enjoy your day. Full day rental is 6 hours, participants must have prior canoe/kayak experience. 2-person kayaks available.

Check in at Guest Services, then guests self-drive to McGillivray Lake where the canoes/kayaks are located, which is accessible by vehicle on a marked dirt service road.

Applicable taxes will be added to all prices. Rates are in Canadian dollars. Dates and prices may be subject to change without notice. Some restrictions may apply.  Please note minors the age of 13 and over with prior paddling experience can use a paddleboard or a single/double kayak. Minors must be accompanied by an adult out on the water and always remain in close sight of the adult renter (19+). All minors under the age of 13yrs must be in a boat (Canoe or double kayak) with an adult. Minors cannot rent equipment without an adult. A waiver must be signed by the renter and all participants.
