Take to the ice and drop in for public skating or try out our drop in hockey sessions in a NHL sized outdoor ice skating rink.
Skate and stick rentals are available at the rink. The ice skating rink is only a short walk from the village, just past the Sports Centre.
Day-to-day operations are weather dependent. We suggest calling the rink or the Municipal Office ahead of time.

Private Bookings
All private booking require a minimum of 10 days' notice. We require full payment at the time of the booking. A full refund will be provided for cancellations with 11 or more days' notice, 10 days' or less the full amount becomes non refundable.
Note, bookings are weather and snow dependant.
Liability insurance - we recommend all groups carry their own liability insurance for their event on the ice rink.

Family Fun Night at the Skating Rink - tuesdays
December 11, 2018 to March 19, 2019 - 5:00pm to 6:30pm
This weekly evening activity is all about the kids and having fun! Enjoy outdoor ice skating, games, music, and of course our mascot, Harry Bear, is always on location. With complimentary hot chocolate to keep everyone warm. Sun Peaks' ice skating rink is located only a few minutes' walk from the village, across from the Kookaburra Lodge. Identified on the village map as the bright blue house #9.
- Children 12 and under skate for FREE and must be accompanied by an adult. Rentals are not included.
