Sun Peaks Golf Course Opening Update for Friday, May 22

The Sun Peaks Golf Course is now fully open for the 2026 season. All 18 holes are available for play, and cart rentals are now available. Carts must remain on designated cart paths at this time.
Following a successful early-season soft opening of the Front 9, the team has continued preparing the course for the season ahead. Spring playing conditions can be expected, including wet areas and cart paths only.
Early-season rates remain in effect, making this a great time to take advantage of savings on green fees. Guests are encouraged to contact the Golf Shop directly or book a tee time online for current rates.
Recent turf care work was completed this week, with aeration on the Back 9 on Wednesday, May 20 and the Front 9 on Thursday, May 21. This year, our team used a new DryJect aeration process, which is designed to be less disruptive to the greens while supporting long-term turf health, drainage, root development, and overall green performance.
Golfers may notice light evidence of recent maintenance on the greens over the coming days, but recovery is expected to be much quicker than with traditional aeration.

Important Course Access Information
Course access remains limited to registered golfers only. To help protect playing conditions, please stay off greens, tee boxes, fairways, and practice areas unless you are checked in for a tee time.
Sun Peaks Golf Course Opening Update for Tuesday, May 12

The Sun Peaks Golf Course is scheduled to open early for the 2026 season! We will begin with a limited soft opening on Wednesday, May 13.
Guests can expect 9 holes of walking-only play to begin, with operations continuing to expand as course conditions and supporting services are prepared for the season.
Soft Opening Schedule
Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14
9 holes, walking only
Tee times: 9:00am to 4:30pm
Pro Shop: 9:00am to 6:30pm
Friday, May 15
9 holes, walking only
Tee times: 9:00am to 5:30pm (return by 8:00pm)
Pro Shop: 9:00am to 8:00pm
Power carts may be available over the weekend (decisions are made daily based on weather and course conditions).
Official Opening Day
Saturday, May 16 marks our official opening day for the season.
We are targeting the full 18-hole course opening on Friday, May 22.

Important Course Access Information
To protect playing conditions, the golf course and practice facilities are closed to all non-paying access until opening. Guests are asked to stay off greens, tee boxes, and fairways. Recreational access, including walking, biking, and other non-golf activities, is not permitted on the golf course at any time. Access is limited to registered golfers only.
