Spring is the best time of year for après-ski celebrations, as spring temperatures seep through the village core and sun soaks lively patios—and secluded picnic spots, too! Just listen for the bells each afternoon—the Sun Peaks village has a daily 3:00pm "après bells" tradition to let you know it's time for a cold one ☀️🔔.
The month of March offers plenty of snow and sunshine in the mountains of interior British Columbia. April is famous for long days with soft, forgiving spring snow conditions later in the day when the rays warm the slopes, and the last week of the winter season is something you truly have to experience for yourself.

Spring Snow Fest returns to Sun Peaks March 20–22 with three high-energy days perfectly timed for spring break. Morrisey and Sundance mountain lifts stay open until 4pm after February 1st. So it’s okay to sleep in and ski the afternoon away. Keep in mind powder days regularly happen right through spring and beyond closing day, so it never hurts to have your mountain go-bag packed the night before.
