What if a Chairlift Had a Personality?
With 13 lifts to choose from while skiing and riding around Sun Peaks, choosing the right bump up the mountain can be a daunting task. So why not get to know the first three chairlifts built in the valley more personally, and start planning where you're going to let it rip on your next visit?
"Back then it was just me up here, and a bunch of long-haired free thinkers. We were all about good times and big snow days."
"I love my job! I get to be the centre of attention. Everyone comes to me when they need something, I've got access to every kind of terrain you could think of.
"I like to stay close to my roots and keep an eye on the next gen. Sometimes I like to give them a bump up the hill after school, too!"
Find a variety of accommodation options in Sun Peaks.
From village-centre hotels, to private condos and vacation homes—each have a unique personality of their own, and many have ski-in/ski-out access. You can ski and ride through a winter wonderland village where everything is centrally located, and right from your favourite trails to bars, restaurants, cafés, shops, and back to your lodge.
Sun Peaks receives 6 metres of snow annually, and the mountains are covered with light, dry powder that Interior British Columbia is famous for. 4,270 acres of skiable terrain is spread across the three skiable peaks, and each mountain is easily accessible from the central village.
