SUN PEAKS, British Columbia, January 14, 2026 - Food lovers, adventure seekers, and culinary enthusiasts are invited to indulge in a mountain-meets-gastronomy experience as the Savour Culinary Festival returns to Sun Peaks from March 16 - 21, 2026.

Set against the stunning mountains of Sun Peaks, this multi-day celebration of food and mountain culture brings together some of BC’s most talented chefs, sommeliers and food producers for an unforgettable lineup of exclusive ticketed dinners, wine tastings, and signature après-ski experiences.

New for 2026, the festival proudly welcomes celebrated chef, bestselling author, and media personality Vikram Vij as a featured guest and co-host.

Renowned for his elevated, modern approach to Indian cuisine, Vij is the chef and owner of Vancouver’s iconic restaurant Vij’s, hailed by The New York Times as “easily among the finest Indian restaurants in the world.” For more than 30 years, diners have flocked to Vij’s to experience his signature dishes, and now, Sun Peaks guests can enjoy his culinary talent in BC’s interior.

“Savour is about bringing people together through exceptional food, drink, and shared experiences,” says Naomi Kerchinsky, Executive Director of Tourism Sun Peaks. “With the addition of Vikram Vij and a host of new events and activities, this year’s festival promises to be our most exciting and delicious yet.”

Presented by La Chaîne des Rotisseurs, Vikram Vij, and Tourism Sun Peaks, guests can savour dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients from Sun Peaks’ finest eateries, perfectly paired with artisanal brews, cocktails, and wines. Between tastings, visitors can soak up the spring sun on the slopes and enjoy everything the charming alpine village has to offer.

Masterclass Wine-Paired Dinner with Vikram Vij

Thursday, March 19, Sun Peaks Centre, 5:30 pm VIP experience/$250, 6:30 pm General Admission/$150.

Celebrity chef and festival co-host Vikram Vij presents an interactive, wine-paired dinner featuring Privato Wines, with appetizers and three family-style courses. Guests will be entertained with stories from his new cookbook, My New Indian Kitchen.

Après Ski Wine Stroll
Friday, March 20, 3:00 - 6:00 pm, $50 per person

Back by popular demand, this festive wine stroll invites guests to explore the village while sampling at multiple wine stations. Participants receive a souvenir wine glass and tasting tokens, making it a lively après-ski experience with a scavenger-hunt twist.

Après Ski Wine Stroll: Escorted VIP Tasting with Vikram Vij
Friday, March 20, $150 per person (20-person maximum)
Join Vikram Vij for an exclusive, guided wine stroll as he shares stories and tasting notes along the way. The evening concludes with a three-course dinner at Powder Hounds. Signed copies of My New Indian Kitchen will be available for purchase.

Unwind with Yoga and Après
Thursday, March 19, 3:00 - 5:30 pm, Hearthstone Lodge, $66 per person

After a day on the slopes, relax with a gentle flow yoga class designed to stretch tired muscles and restore energy. The experience wraps up with après at Capones, featuring refreshing sips and delicious bites.
