Sun Peaks Rentals is conveniently located in the Village Day Lodge at the base of the Sunburst and Sundance Express lifts. Pick up your pre-purchased lift tickets and arrange your rentals in one stop, so you can get out on the mountain faster and easier.
Alpine Ski and Snowboard Rentals
Our standard rentals are ideal for beginners and low-intermediate skiers or snowboarders, while our high-performance rentals are designed for intermediate and advanced skiers or snowboarders.
Book online at least 48 hours in advance and save 10%. Get an extra 15% off when you rent equipment for three days or more.*
*Book by midnight, 48 hours before the reservation date. Helmet rentals are not included in the multi-day discount.

Ski packages include skis, boots and poles, while snowboard packages include board, boots and bindings. All prices are subject to applicable taxes. What is ski binding indemnification?
Ski binding indemnification is the manufacturer’s guarantee that a binding model continues to meet current industry safety standards. Over time, the materials in a binding naturally wear down. Poor maintenance or storage — like keeping skis in a damp basement — can speed up that process.
Once a manufacturer determines a binding model has aged beyond safe, predictable performance, it removes the binding from its indemnified (supported) list. That means the manufacturer no longer backs the binding’s safety or function.
If a binding is still indemnified, the manufacturer stands behind its performance, and our technicians are able to work on it.
Why does indemnification matter?
Before we adjust, mount or remount bindings, we check the manufacturer’s warranty status for two key reasons:
Safety: Indemnified bindings are guaranteed to meet today’s safety standards. Non-indemnified bindings may not release properly, increasing the risk of injury.
Liability: Following manufacturer guidelines protects both you and our technicians. We’re unable to service bindings the manufacturer no longer supports.

Rental Terms and Conditions
Damage Waiver
A $6.00 damage waiver is included in the listed rental price. The $6.00 fat bike damage waiver is not included in the listed rental price. The damage waiver covers accidental damage to the equipment that may occur while skiing or riding. It does not cover negligence, theft or loss of equipment. Ski locks are recommended and can be purchased from several of our retail outlets.
Cancellation Policy
Reservation changes/cancellations with more than 48 hours notice will be honoured, please call Elevation for assistance, 250.578.5555.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation.
No refunds for missed reservations.

Be sure to bring a parent or guardian to sign a rental waiver on your behalf.
